The V5 distance sensor measures the distance to an object, approximately its size and approach speed. The distance measurement range is 20mm~2000mm. The accuracy below 200mm is about+/-15mm, and the accuracy above 200mm is about 5%. The approximate object size report is small, medium, or large, and helps determine whether the target is a wall or a game object. The approach speed measurement sensor and the object's approach speed.
 
The V5 distance sensor uses classroom safe Level 1 laser, similar to those used for head detection in modern mobile phones. Laser allows sensors to have a very narrow field of view, so detection is always directly in front of the sensor.
