Product Description
The cylinder uses compressed air (rather than a motor) to produce motion in one of two states: full extension or full contraction. The cylinder in Pneumatic Kit 1 is single-acting - it uses air to extend the cylinder rod, but uses a spring to return to a contracted state. As a result, the cylinder can expand and contract at different rates. In contrast, the cylinders in the Pneumatic Kit 2 are double-acting, using compressed air to extend and contract.
